My name is Alexander Rentsch. I was born on November 25th, 1983 and I live in Berlin since 1985. In early 2003 I started to take actively part in photography. My first field of interest involved shooting sport-related photographs. Especially skateboarding offered me wide range of interesting motives. Shortly before getting my degree in music-media-management my personal interest has completely switched to photography in general.|
During my second studies in 2008 I restarted my photographical efforts with huge inspiration by friends. I expanded my photographical interest to mundane architecture which to this day is my main-motive in my work. Clear lines, wide rooms, either very bright or deep dark. Motives that glow colorfully or motives that creat a cold and sterile atmosphere. On the other hand I started to get into portrait photography which – besides my architectural work – generated a lot of interest and attention in university, my clients and the internet.
Motivated by the positive feedback I decided to study communication design at HTW Berlin in order to prepare my photographical career.
Feel free to visit my sites and enjoy my work maybe.
